Controlled drug delivery
Micro filtration is only one area where RoTrac® Capillary Pore Membranes are perfectly suited for. OXYPHEN can use its innovative technology not only to render flat membranes microporous, but also cylindrical structures such as hollow fibres and balloons. The result are microporous TEMBs (track-etched membrane balloons), which are in use for drug controlled release.
The controlled release of substances is a growing market for RoTrac® Membranes. Wherever a constant release of substances are required, our membranes function as a semi permeable barrier. The required release rate specified by the customer, can be achieved due to the precise control and adjustment of pore density and pore diameter of our Capillary Pore Membranes. These products are developed in a close relationship with our customers.
