Mark Fry to lead Oxyphen’s North American expansion



Lachen, Switzerland, December 1, 2006. Oxyphen AG, a leading manufacturer of track-etched membrane products for the automotive and life sciences industries announced today that it has signed a sales and marketing agreement with Mark Fry to increase market penetration in North America.



Fry will support Oxyphen’s ongoing expansion efforts in North America to increase the technology and manufacturing leadership position and to serve the OEM opportunities for track-etched membrane applications. Targeted market segments are in drug discovery, diagnostics, rapid microbiology, drug delivery and bioprocess.


Mark Fry brings an impressive background of business expertise and industry knowledge to Oxyphen. He has a broad range of sales, marketing and management experience with several leading life science and diagnostic companies. Mr. Fry’s most recent experience was with Whatman Ltd, a global leader in separations technologies. As Director of OEM Sales in North America he led the group to an impressive increase in sales. He also served in various sales and marketing roles with Johnson & Johnson, Kodak, Amersham and Ventana Medical Systems. Mr. Fry began his career as a Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy. Mr. Fry’s academic accomplishments include a BSc in biochemistry.
